The Summer Solstice Challenge starts at sunrise (5:08 a.m.) and will end at sunset (8:41 p.m.) for a 15.5 hour event. Results will be calculated based on how many loops you can run in that time! Laps will be counted for each competitor, and information about each runner’s progress will be available during the run. Runners may stop to rest and restart running as they please.
Registration opens January 1, 2023.

Event Details
Location:
Camp Sinawa, 9113 Sinawa Road, Valders, WI
The Course:
The course is a 4.5 mile loop.
A mix of rolling hills on dirt jeep roads, winding single track mountain bike trail, and a short paved section.
The course is almost entirely in the woods.

Start Time: 5:08AM The 15.5 Hour runner will start with the 6 hour, 8 hour, and 24 hour runners.
Aid Stations / Food: This is a GREEN event!
Each participant is required to carry a water bottle/hydration pack. There will be some great ultra staples available at the start/finish line. You will pass this point every lap. There is a self service aid stations aid station at the half way point with water and Gatorade.

Start/Finish Aid Station - Will be stocked with the usual assortment of snacks, pretzels, bananas, cookies, water and sports drink.

Mid-course Aid Station - There will be a self-serve hydration station at 2.25 miles with water and sports drink.
Massage: The Start/Finish area will have a massage therapist available for all our runners from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., courtesy of our sponsor, Restore U Solutions and Christine Wolf.
Swag and Awards:
We all love event goodies! And, that is why each registered participant will receive a short sleeve-tech shirt and a 10L waterproof drop-bag. Additionally, upon finishing, runners will receive a finisher award.
EARN EXTRA SWAG!!!
Not included but may be earned! Every runner who completes more than 50 Miles in the 8 Hour or 15.5 Hour events will also EARN a nice, thick 1/4 zip athletic top and a '50M' or '100K' patch to commemorate your accomplishment! You only earn the shirt once. If you earned a shirt in previous year you will earn an additional '50M' or '100K' patch this year.
Top Male and top Female of each event will receive a special award.
Pacer / Crew Information
CREW Rules:

Be courteous and obey any requests from race officials.

Crew must review and be familiar with ALL rules.

Crew must be courteous while using restrooms (runners first).

Crew may only park in authorized areas.
-
Crew may only support runner and pacer within 100 feet of an official aid station.

Crew must allow participants to receive aid before getting supplies for their runner.
-
At the start/finish area, crew must set up past the aid station tent so there is no interference with lap counting.

RULES violations could result in your runner receiving a disqualification.
PACER Rules:

Pacers are ONLY allowed for the 15.5 and 24 Hour events.

Pacing is ONLY allowed after 1PM.

Pacers must register at the main event tent (start/finish line) prior to pacing. All pacers will complete and sign a medical and release form. If a pacer is under 18 years old they will need a guardian to sign on their behalf.

Only one pacer is allowed per runner at any given time.

Pacers will stay with runner at all times - no running ahead to fill bottles, get food, or access drop bag.

Pacers may not mule for their runner - no carrying runner supplies.
There will be no charge for pacers in this event and each will have full access to each aid station while pacing. Please note that pacers will not be eligible for any awards, as they are not considered official runners.
Refunds, Deferrals or Transfers
This event will be held regardless of the weather conditions! There are NO refunds or deferrals for this event, you may however transfer your bib to another runner before June 21, 2023.
